Itinerary

Day 1DEPARTURE - TRANSIT - MOSCOW (MOB)

Assemble at airport for your departure flight to Moscow

Day 2MOSCOW (L/D)

Morning arrived at Moscow; visit the famous and oldest Red Square which is situated in the very heart of Moscow. Photo stop near St. Basil. Visit to Lenin’s Mausoleum (if it is opened) Some shopping experience at the GUM Department Store. After lunch, visit the beautiful ancient fortified Kremlin. Photo stop at three beautiful Cathedrals of Assumption of the Robe. We will also visit the Kremlin Armoury if time permits. Overnight at Moscow.

Day 3MOSCOW - MURMANSK (B/D)

After breakfast, experience the tour of Moscow ‘s Metro, also knew as Underground Palaces which is one of the most beautiful subway system in the world. Visit to Kolomenskoye, it is a former Royal estate located in the southern part of Moscow. Walking tour through Arbat Street, you will find shops selling antiques, jewelry, souvenirs, art galleries, folk arts and many interesting sights. Transfer to airport, for your domestic flight to – Murmansk. Upon arrival, transfer to local restaurant for dinner. Overnight at Murmansk.

Day 4MURMANSK (B/L/D)

We will take a panoramic tour board our coach to the port city, military base of the Russian Northen Fleet and where part of the sail stands as a memorial to all Russian and Soviet submariners fallen throughout history. Visiting the Nuclear Icebreaker “Lenin” – the atomic icebreaker, the world’s first surface ship with a nuclear power plant. The primary occupation is reindeer farming, skilled fisherman and hunters. Experience the arctic life with a ride on a small reindeer sleigh. After dinner you will have a second hunting for Northern Light can be carried on anytime as long as there is Aurora reported. Overnight at Murmansk.

Day 6MURMANSK - ST PETERSBURG (B/L/D)

Today transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to – Saint Petersburg – Russian’s second largest city on the Baltic Sea. Visit to the famous historical and revolutionary Monuments of Peter and Paul Fortress, and its cathedral, pantheon of Romanov Tsars. Visit St Isaac’s Cathedral situated on St Isaac’s Square and is the largest and most ornate church. Overnight at St. Petersburg.

Day 7ST PETERSBURG (B/L/D)

Start a day with an excursion tour to the Great Palace of Peterhof (Petrodvorets). The stately parks which are only open during summer features innumerable fountains, beautiful cascades, guilt and marble statues of goods and heroes (not available for Oct group). Walking tour of Nevsky Prospect, the main avenue to see the Art Nouveau Book House, Eliseyev Emporium, Anichkov Bridge, Gostriny Dbor (A Historic Russian Term for an Indoor Market). Visit to Our Lady of Kazan Cathedral, it is one of the largest cathedrals in Saint Petersburg. It was build in 1801-1811 by the architect Andrey Voronikhin by order of Emperor Paul I who wanted h=the cathedral to resemble St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. The cathedral is the monument to glory of Russian arms. The famous Russian Field Marshal Mikhail Kutuzov, who won the mist important campaign of 1812, was buried inside the Kazan Cathedral. In 1932-1991 it housed the Museum of the History of Religion and Atheism. The sacred thing of the cathedral is a copt of an icon of Our Lady of Kazan. Photo stop at the Church of Savoir on Spilled Blood. Overnight at St. Petersburg.

Day 8ST PETERSBURG - TRANSIT - HOME (B/L/D)

Free leisure in the morning. Lunch in the local restaurant with 2 pancakes with caviar. Visit the State Hermitage Museum which is one of the largest museums in the world where its collection numbers about 3 million exhibits and holds the world’s largest collection of paintings. Visit to the Palace Quartier, the central city square of st Petersburg and of the former Russian Empire. The iconic Alexander column is located in the centre and it witnessed many historical events. After dinner, proceed to airport for your flight back to home.

Day 9ARRIVE HOME

Arrive home with happy memories.
