• Morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a morning to visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Unlike a traditional zoo, this 653 hectare forest reserve allows orangutans to roam freely. Witness their natural behaviors, including nest-building, tree acrobatics, and feeding habits, while learning about their survival training in the wild. In the afternoon, visit the Sarawak Cultural Village, also known as the “Living Museum”. Here, you can explore replicas of traditional ethnic homes, including the Chinese Farm House, Malay Stilted House, and longhouses from the Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu groups. Discover local crafts like beadwork and bamboo cravings, and enjoy live demonstrations of traditional arts such as “PUA” weaving.
