Assemble at International Airport for your departure flight to Beijing.
Upon arrival, take the high-speed train to Datong. Upon arrival, Mongolian grand prairie welcome ceremony - dismounting wine ceremony.
Visit the Yungang Grottoes (including electric cart ride) a World Cultural Heritage site. The Yungang Grottoes comprise 252 caves and
niches, containing over 51,000 stone sculptures, representing outstanding Buddhist cave art from the 5th to 6th centuries AD. The Yungang Grottoes, along with the Mogao Grottoes, Longmen Grottoes, and Maijishan Grottoes, are known as the four major grottoes of China.
Visit the Nine-Dragon Wall, the oldest and largest existing Nine-Dragon Wall in China.
Datong Ancient City – a Northern Wei capital with over 2,300 years of history and a key military town during the Ming and Qing dynasties, known as the "Key to the North." Its distinctive features include well-preserved Ming Dynasty-style city walls, a well-organized grid-like layout of neighborhoods, and abundant historical sites.
Overnight stay at Datong Liuying Hotel or similar.
In the morning, visit the Zhaojun Museum, also known as the Zhaojun Tomb or "Green Tomb," the burial site of Wang Zhaojun, a famous concubine of the Han Dynasty, as recorded in historical records and folk legends. (The Zhaojun Museum is closed every Tuesday.)
After lunch, drive back to Beijing by high-speed train.
Overnight at the Beijing Kapok Hotel or similar.
