It is an important part of the Emei Mountain-Leshan Giant Buddha World Cultural and Natural Heritage site and one of the world's largest stone-carved Maitreya Buddha statues. The Buddha is approximately 71 meters tall, carved during the Tang Dynasty, and took about 90 years to complete. It is hailed as "the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain."
• Next, head to Qianwei County in Leshan City, take the Jiayang Steam Train through the rapeseed fields, and experience a unique romance and tranquility while riding the steam train through the sea of rapeseed flowers.
